Due to the special nature of Tel Aviv, it is only natural to create a platform for integrating young people from around the globe into the broad, multifaceted world of Tel Aviv life with all its components. Today’s young people live the world of the Internet. Life has become faster, the ability to communicate and access any and all information has become speedier and more readily available, and hence less dependent on one’s geographical location. This is the place where we can lose the young people who come to Israel and fail to find themselves, or understand their situation and consider this an opportunity and a challenge to develop ways of thinking that are suited to our time.
The CONNECTLV project is a new project that speaks first and foremost about a new concept of thinking for integrative absorption into the city, by providing solutions to all the needs of young olim (aged 18-35), based on the understanding and recognition of the young people’s needs, which are not similar to the needs of other population segments.
The Jewish Agency understands that the absorption of young people in Tel Aviv is different from absorption in other places. Today we understand that successful absorption in Israel depends on the connections that each oleh succeeds in establishing inIsrael. We believe that young olim come to Tel Aviv with a dream. It is not our role to tell the oleh what they need, but rather to supply them with suitable connections and updated assistance, so that they will be able to fulfill their dream in the best way possible and in a short period of time.
